What SilkIPTV is, in copyright terms

SilkIPTV is a reseller of access to streams that are hosted, encoded and transmitted by third parties. We do not host, store, record, encode or upload any media file, and we do not operate the servers on which the streams originate. We have no ability to edit a broadcast, and we do not own or claim any rights in the programming carried on those streams.

What we can do — and do — is remove a stream from the line-ups we supply, and stop supplying access to it, as soon as we are told it infringes.

Sending a copyright notice

Send notices to contact.provideriptv@gmail.com with “DMCA notice” in the subject line. To let us act without going back and forth, please include:

• Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — a title, a registration number or a link to an authorised copy.
• Identification of the material you are asking us to remove: the exact channel or stream name as it appears in our line-up, precise enough for us to find it.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the right concerned or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens after we receive a notice

• We acknowledge every notice at the address it was sent from, normally within one business day.
• We remove or disable access to the identified channel from our line-ups, normally within 48 hours of a complete notice.
• We pass the notice to the upstream provider that operates the stream, since they are the party able to take the source offline.
• We keep a record of the notice and of the action taken, so repeat matters can be dealt with faster.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, write to the same address with “DMCA counter-notice” in the subject line, including your contact details, the material that was removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court. We will pass a valid counter-notice to the original complainant.

Repeat infringement

Accounts used to distribute infringing material, and upstream sources that repeatedly appear in valid notices, are terminated. We do not offer refunds for a subscription terminated for this reason.

False notices

Filing a notice that materially misrepresents that material is infringing can carry liability for damages under section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Please be certain before sending one.
